Bio-Mile Landscaping

Drayton Valley, Alberta

Select Engineering was engaged to produce a landscape plan for the Bio-mile stormwater management pond for the Town of Drayton Valley. The proposed stormwater pond design features a landscape of medicinal and edible plants. In general, it also brings about a consciousness into the public's awareness of the bio-economical benefits of having abundance of trees, shrubs and other flora life. Not only will it contribute aesthetically to the community's landscape, but it will also be beneficial by providing, shelter, air filtration, food and fuel. This would truly be an eye-opener for anyone who visits the garden. Creating an innovative and functional stormwater pond that is both aesthetically and educationally rewarding to the community.
